Depending on the product, GLEDOPTO solutions can be controlled through Zigbee, Wi-Fi and/or a 2.4 GHz RF remote control. This means there is a suitable solution available for a wide variety of applications and control preferences.
GLEDOPTO LED controllers
GLEDOPTO is primarily known for its LED controllers. These are used to control LED strips and other LED lighting. With these LED controllers, various types of LED lighting can be switched on and off, dimmed and, in many cases, also set to different colours.
An LED controller is connected between the power supply and the LED strip, allowing the controller to control the lighting. The range includes, amongst others, Zigbee LED controllers and Wi-Fi LED controllers for mono, CCT, RGB, RGBW and RGBCCT LED strips. This means there is a suitable solution available for virtually every application.
Most GLEDOPTO LED controllers can be operated through a home automation system and with a 2.4 GHz RF remote control. This makes them suitable for both smart lighting installations and local control without an app.
GLEDOPTO Zigbee LED controllers
GLEDOPTO Zigbee LED controllers are LED controllers that operate through Zigbee 3.0 and are suitable for integrating LED lighting into a smart home system. This allows you to easily connect LED strips and other LED lighting to an existing home automation system.
These LED controllers are compatible with, amongst others, Philips Hue, Homey, SmartThings and Amazon Alexa (via a suitable Zigbee hub). They are also widely used in combination with Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT, making them highly versatile within various smart home ecosystems.
GLEDOPTO Wi-Fi LED controllers
In addition to Zigbee LED controllers, GLEDOPTO also offers Wi-Fi LED controllers for directly controlling LED lighting through a wireless Wi-Fi network.
This category includes Tuya-based LED controllers and WLED LED controllers. These solutions allow you to control lighting through an app or through integration with a smart home system, depending on the type of controller.
GLEDOPTO WLED LED controllers
GLEDOPTO WLED LED controllers are equipped with the open-source WLED software. These controllers are particularly popular with Home Assistant users due to the excellent integration and extensive automation and effect options.
Models are available for both addressable LED strips, such as WS2812B and SK6812, and non-addressable LED strips. This makes them suitable for both simple lighting and dynamic lighting projects with effects and animations.
GLEDOPTO Tuya LED controllers
GLEDOPTO Tuya LED controllers operate through Wi-Fi and can be controlled using the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app on a smartphone. This allows you to easily switch, dim and, in many cases, adjust the colour of your LED lighting via your phone.
These LED controllers are particularly suitable for users who want to control their lighting easily via an app without a separate Zigbee hub or advanced home automation system.
GLEDOPTO LED lighting
In addition to LED controllers, GLEDOPTO also offers smart LED lighting, including smart LED bulbs and downlights. These products are designed for integration within a Zigbee smart home system and can be used as part of both new and existing lighting installations.
GLEDOPTO’s LED lighting operates via Zigbee and also supports control via a 2.4 GHz RF remote control. This allows the lighting to be switched on and dimmed via a smart home system, automations or directly using a remote control.
Various models are available within the range. These include filament LED bulbs with an E27 fitting and adjustable colour temperature (CCT). There are also standard LED bulbs with E14 or E27 fittings featuring adjustable colour and adjustable colour temperature (RGB+CCT). In addition, MR16 and GU10 LED spotlights with RGB+CCT are available.
In addition to LED bulbs, the range also includes Zigbee downlights with RGB+CCT functionality. These are suitable for recessed installations and offer the same options for adjusting colour and colour temperature as the individual LED bulbs.
