PZ5 LED Controller - 5 in 1 - Zigbee 3.0 and 2.4 GHz RF

The MiBoxer PZ5 is a 5-in-1 LED controller for controlling your LED strip. This Zigbee LED controller is suitable for LED strips with a voltage of 12 to 48 volt and a maximum current of 20 ampere in total and 20 ampere per channel. This makes this LED controller suitable for LED strips with a higher voltage and higher current.

MiBoxer P-series

The PZ5 is part of MiBoxer’s P-series. This series is designed for high power applications and therefore supports higher voltages and currents. This LED controller is fitted with traditional screw terminals for connecting the power supply and the LED strip.

This LED controller uses PWM for dimming. The frequency is adjustable to 250 Hz or 16 kHz, but this can only be set through a 2.4 GHz RF remote control.

In addition, you can set whether the LED controller restores the previous status after a power cut or switches on by default when power returns. This can be done through the app or with a 2.4 GHz RF remote control.

5-in-1 LED controller

The MiBoxer PZ5 is a 5-in-1 LED controller. This means it works with virtually all types of LED strips:

• mono (single colour)
• CCT (adjustable colour temperature)
• RGB (adjustable colour)
• RGBW (adjustable colour and white)
• RGBCCT (adjustable colour and adjustable colour temperature)

You can switch between these modes by repeatedly pressing the SET button. The indicator light shows which mode is selected:

• white: mono
• yellow: CCT
• red: RGB
• green: RGBW
• blue: RGBCCT

Zigbee LED controller

This MiBoxer LED controller uses Zigbee 3.0, a wireless protocol that has been developed specifically for home automation. This makes the LED controller compatible with, amongst others, Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, Tuya, Philips Hue, IKEA TRÅDFRI and Amazon Echo Plus. You can therefore use this Zigbee LED controller to control your LED strip remotely via your favourite home automation platform.

In addition, the PZ5 can be controlled in the following ways:

• through a a 2.4 GHz RF remote control from MiBoxer
• through an external push button that you can connect (press briefly to switch on or off, press and hold to adjust the brightness)
