SZ2 LED Controller - 2 in 1 - Zigbee 3.0 and 2.4 GHz RF

The MiBoxer SZ2 is a 2-in-1 LED controller for controlling your LED strip. This Zigbee LED controller is suitable for LED strips with a voltage of 12 to 24 volt and a maximum current of 12 ampere in total and 12 ampere per channel.

MiBoxer S-series

The SZ2 is part of MiBoxer’s S-series. This series features traditional screw terminals for connecting your LED strip. You can power this LED controller through:

• the screw terminals
• the 5.5x2.1 mm DC jack

The LED controller uses PWM dimming. The frequency is adjustable to 250 Hz or 16 kHz, but this can only be set through a 2.4 GHz RF remote control.

You can also set whether the LED controller remembers the last status in the event of a power cut or always switches on when power is restored. This can be done through the app or with a 2.4 GHz RF remote control.

2-in-1 LED controller

The MiBoxer SZ2 is a 2-in-1 LED controller. This means it works with the following types of LED strips:

• mono (single colour)
• CCT (adjustable colour temperature)

By pressing the SET button several times, you can switch between these modes. The indicator light shows which mode is active:

• red: mono
• green: CCT

Zigbee LED controller

This MiBoxer LED controller uses Zigbee 3.0, a wireless protocol that has been developed specifically for home automation. This makes the LED controller compatible with, amongst others, Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, Tuya, Philips Hue, IKEA TRÅDFRI and Amazon Echo Plus. Thanks to this Zigbee LED controller, you can control your LED strip remotely through your favourite home automation platform.

The SZ2 can also be controlled in the following ways:

• through a 2.4 GHz RF remote control from MiBoxer
• through an external push button that you can connect (press briefly to switch on or off, press and hold to adjust the brightness)
